279/365 – FAMILY HEIRLOOM 2

A small much-loved china statue of a dancing geisha which belonged to my aunt. It was only when I enlarged the photo to process it I noticed that she’d been patched up a little bit. Sticking plaster and cellotape, that’s the way to do it! 😉 #Project365 #Photoaday #heirloom #geisha

75/365 – THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

a bust of an early aviator entitled “The Twentieth Century”, sculpted by Mary Pownall Bromet (1889 to 1932). The piece was first exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1928. LIBERTY BEACON – NEW YORK CITY (2008)

During our visit to New York in 2008 I took this shot with my Kodak compact camera. The reflection of the sun on the far tower is natural while the Liberty beacon has been added for matching effect! I really couldn’t resist it! 🙂
