A busy day doing ordinary, everyday type-of Saturday stuff, but while I’m doing that my studio machines are archiving the family history , and currently converting audio cassettes to digital.

The tape just completed is dated from 10 February 1985 and features our children Jenna, Peter and myself singing songs for their Mama. This is just one of them.

I’ve put it up here as Mama (who is now Granma, by the way), sings this very same song to our 4 year-old grand-daughter Paige. Granma also sings the very last additional line to her as well.

And so, a message to my grand-daughter; “Paigey… Here is your own Mummy singing the same song that you now sing with Granma – and now you now who invented the last line as well!

Lots of love – Grampy.”
