A study of the John and Cecil Moores statue which is situated in Church Street, Liverpool. The statue was commissioned by the Littlewoods group to mark the centenary of Sir John’s birth and was designed by sculptor Tom Murphy in 1996. The Moores brothers became famous as the founding fathers for the Littlewoods empire – including the shopping branch and also the football pools side of the business.

The statue is situated outside the former Littlewoods store in the main shopping area of the city.
